Designer Announcement Week :: Day 2

I'm back again today to introduce more of the 2022 group of designers for Ink Blot Shop! As I mentioned on day 1 of announcement week, there will be a multi-faceted group of designers for Ink Blot Shop in 2022 featuring: nine Design Team members, a Specialist Designer (for all things planner/bullet journaling), and seven New Release Designers. I'll be breaking up the introductions so that you can get to know 3-4 of these great designers each day this week.

Today I am excited to share with you four more of the nine new Design Team members:

Jeannie Lieu
Stephanie Benavides
Jennifer Ingle
&
Samantha Ziegenfuss

Each of these four Design Team members will be creating projects on a monthly basis, and will keep the inspiration coming to you here on the blog and over on the Ink Blot Shop Instagram account.

Let's get to know each of these designers a little bit:

Jeannie Lieu

Please tell us a little bit about yourself - how did you get started in your crafting journey? What time of day are you most likely to be found crafting? What are your favorite types of projects to create? And where can your crafting presence be found online?

My name is Jeannie, born and raised in San Francisco. Funny enough, I started making cards because my full time job was really slow and I started watching YouTube videos on coloring/making cards. Soon enough, I was coloring in my office during work hours ... Now, the rest is history! Nowadays, I craft after work-hours while watching tv/movies, especially baseball during the season. I started out loving interactive cards but now I dabble in a variety of different types of projects, including planner layouts, vinyl projects and cardmaking. Whenever I'm in a slump, I will just stamp out a project to color -- coloring is my favorite!

You can find me on my blog, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and even TikTok

Stephanie Benavides

How did you get started in your crafting journey? Ever since I can remember, I've loved creating with markers and watercolors and any other medium I could find. In high school I started scrapbooking and doing other crafts. I discovered card making a few years later and really fell in love with it! In the past few years, with my sons getting older and being more independent, I've been able to devote more time to card making again and it has become part of my self care.

What time of day are you most likely to be found crafting? I'm usually crafting with a nice cup of coffee in the quiet hour I get after my boys go to school and before I have to start working. I also craft at night when the rest of my house is getting ready for bed and on the weekends. So pretty much, any free time I have!

What are your favorite types of projects to create? My favorite projects to create are cards, especially birthday cards! I love to customize the birthday cards just for the recipient.

Where can your crafting presence be found online?

Jennifer Ingle

How did you get started in your crafting journey? Well, I was the kind of kid that would make something out of anything I could get my hands on. I actually used to set up little craft shows with LOADS of stuff I made and sell them to my parents. That creating has evolved a bit (I hope), but it's basically just the same thing. I make things because it makes me happy!

What time of day are you most likely to be found crafting? Sure! I have a full time job, a toddler, a husband, two dogs, and a house that doesn't seem to want to do all the things so we don't have to, so... I craft when I can. I carve out moments here and there and I make time when I know I need it the most.

What are your favorite types of projects to create? I love creating cards. I think if I am honest that is my favorite. I do also create scrapbook pages from time to time and I enjoy doing little stuff like tags, random bookmarks, or other paper crafty things here and there.

Where can your crafting presence be found online? My Instagram is the best spot to find me and my projects. Warning: You also get pictures of the cutest two and a half year old in the world. I also have a blog, Just Jingle, where I post occasionally, but not everything lands there.

Samantha Ziegenfuss

How did you get started in your crafting journey? I have been creating in one form or another since I was very young. One of my earliest passions was writing; in fact I often dreamed of being an author when I grew up.

What time of day are you most likely to be found crafting? I do the majority of my crafting very early on Saturday mornings. I went from Saturday morning cartoons to Saturday morning card making.

What are your favorite types of projects to create? I have a wide array of creative interests. My favorite types of projects to create are writings that I share on my personal blog, crocheted scarves and afghans, handmade boxes, and cards.

(Be sure to check out Samantha's blog post about the card she created.)

Where can your crafting presence be found online? You can find me on Instagram (coykoicrafting), on either of my blogs (www.drivingthecrazytrain.com is for my writing while www.coykoicrafting.org is for general crafty projects), and on Facebook (Coy Koi Crafting).

They're amazing, right?!
Stay tuned the rest of the week to meet the remaining designers...
