More fun stuff today as I get to announce three more designers for Ink Blot Shop in 2022! As previously mentioned, there will be a multi-faceted group of designers featuring: nine Design Team members, a Specialist Designer (for all things planner/bullet journaling), and seven New Release Designers. Because this is such a large combined group, I will be breaking up the introductions so that you can get to know 3-4 of these great designers each day this week.
Today I get to share with you two more of the new Design Team members as well as the planner/bullet journaling specialist:
Theary Chea
Laurie Case
&
Jennie McGarvey
The Design Team members and the Specialist Designer will be creating projects on a monthly basis, and will keep the inspiration coming to you here on the blog and over on the Ink Blot Shop Instagram account.
Let's get to know each of these designers a little bit:
How did you get started in your crafting journey? Growing up, I had always enjoyed getting creative with arts and crafts. I was a stationary fanatic throughout high school and got more into paper crafting as the years grew on. However, I found my love for cardmaking by accident; I remember having one of those restless nights during my first pregnancy and entering the rabbit hole of YouTube. I stumbled upon some cardmakers and instantly fell in love with all of the techniques involved. From there, I've immersed myself into the hobby and have not regretted it one bit. My passion for crafting has always been a strong one.
What time of day are you most likely to be found crafting? Since I am a mother to three young children, my crafting time is usually staggered all over the place. My daily craft room time typically involves at least one of my three children (if not all) "attempting" to help me brainstorm and create. The best time to craft is when all the little ones are napping/sleeping, but I am usually tired and ready to call it a night by then. So, to answer this question more clearly, I am generally winging it throughout the day.
What are your favorite types of projects to create? I love to make greeting cards, although I have been trying to dabble into a few other types of projects, such as 3D printing, laser printing, and home decor.

How did you get started in your crafting journey? I got started on my crafty journey in 2012-13 when I decided to make my wedding invites. I had full intentions of selling all the supplies I bought which included a Cuttlebug and 2nd gen Cricut machine. From what started as just one little box of supplies has blossomed into a room bursting with crafty goodness!!
What time of day are you most likely to be found crafting? Most of my craft room time is spent on the weekends usually starting around 3 pm when I have my afternoon coffee or tea (usually coffee). If my mojo is on fire, I’ll be in there for hours!!!
What are your favorite types of projects to create? I’ve always enjoyed making cards but recently I’ve fallen in love with mixed media! Combining the two is amazing! Honestly, I find myself reaching for paint over inks! And sometimes a card front turns into a gorgeous piece of framed home decor!!

How did you get started in your crafting journey? My aunt had started scrapbooking and I loved her pages. This was in 1999 and the next year I started my own albums. I haven't ever stopped!
What time of day are you most likely to be found crafting? Late morning for sure, but it's not uncommon to create in the afternoon! However, I'm rarely in my craft room in the evening or morning.
What are your favorite types of projects to create? I love creating in my bujo. I feel so free to be really creative here. I know the pages get turned to a new week, so there's no pressure! [Really though, how can I choose just one?!]
