These four New Release Designers will be joining in with the other designers to inspire you with fabulous projects for each of the new releases from Ink Blot Shop in 2022.

Let's get to know each of these designers a little bit:

Ceal Pritchett

How did you get started in your crafting journey? I have always been crafty, I loved art in school. When I was getting married 17 years ago I wanted to make my own invitations and wanted to scrapbook it as well. A friend invited me to a Close To My Heart party. I did make my own invitations and I made a scrapbook of my wedding but I soon fell in love with cardmaking when I attended a Stampin Up party and don't scrapbook much at all anymore.

What time of day are you most likely to be found crafting? I craft some during the day but I am a night owl so you will find me crafting after my husband goes to bed.

What are your favorite types of projects to create? I love creating cards the most, I also love to dabble in other things like bible journaling, art journaling and candle making.

 Heather Ruwe

How did you get started in your crafting journey? Ever since I was little, I was drawn to all things crafty. My mom and I did a lot of craft shows together growing up. However, it wasn’t until I was invited to a stamping party by some co-workers (back in 2000) that I got really hooked! Soon after, I got a job at a local scrapbook store and began teaching scrapbooking and card making classes.

What time of day are you most likely to be found crafting? I’m in my craft room a lot but you could most likely find me in the morning or afternoon. I don’t craft much in the evenings.

What are your favorite types of projects to create? My favorite type of projects to create are cards and gifts. My style is bright, colorful, and cutesy.

Andy Granick

How did you get started in your crafting journey? I started crafting a few years ago when I was gifted a first generation Cricut die cutting machine. I would make banners and decorations but never got into card making until I discovered YouTube. I love to play with paper. I occasionally diverge from card making and make other paper projects.

What time of day are you most likely to be found crafting? I'm an evening crafter mostly. I love to create afterwork where I can focus and center myself.

What are your favorite types of projects to create? I love clean and simple card designs. I've made many banners, circle mobiles and have a fun quilling project on my IG that sits in my office at work.

Jung AhSang

How did you get started in your crafting journey? I have always loved paper crafting. I loved stationary, stickers, and oragami as a kid. Then, I started scrapbooking in high school. My love of paper progressed when I discovered scrapbooking magazines and craft stores. After I had my second daughter, and my spare time diminished, I wanted a craft that I could finish in one [short] sitting. I discovered cardmaking watching Jennifer McGuire YouTube videos (I had loved her work as a scrapbooker already). I bought my first stamp set in 2015, and I've been cardmaking ever since.

What time of day are you most likely to be found crafting? I do most of my crafting during the day when my 2 older girls are at school, but I have a little one at home, who means there are a lot of interruptions. I love to craft late at night when everyone is asleep, so I can work as long as I please.

What are your favorite types of projects to create? My favorite kind of projects to create are shaker cards!
