Geometric Hello Card

My best trick for when I feel like I’m using the same colors is using the internet. There are color palettes everywhere and that’s how I found the combination for today’s card. I just searched for “summer color palettes”, these colors caught my eye.
I pulled out the Basic Shapes stamp set along with my Misti to create an easy pattern using the summer palette. I started with the largest diamond shape in the middle of my card panel and moved my card panel half an inch to the left and the right. I rotated the colors and love how it came out.
The row in the middle of the card looked a bit plain on its own, so I decided to do the same on the top and bottom of the card. This time, I used the reverse order of the colors (starting with the dark teal instead of orange). I love the geometric vibe of this card!
To finish off this card, I pulled out the Stretched Sentiments and stamped it in the middle row of the diamonds. It fits perfectly and really stands out but I still wanted to accent the sentiment with some gold baubles. Then, I decided to trim my card panel to 4.25 x 5.25 and matted it on black cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you’re inspired to create. Happy Crafting!
