Slimline Hello Card

Hello, Friends! This is Jennifer Ingle with you here today and I am so happy that you have joined me for some inspiration! I love how incredibly useful the Ink Blot Shop Alignment Guides are and I couldn't have made this card without them! I started by using my alignment guides for the most basic thing of all! To remind me of what size to cut my card base and panels! LOL! I know that may sound a bit silly, but I often forget or get my measurements a bit mixed up, so having them clearly printed directly on the Slimline Alignment Guide makes my job just a little easier and I appreciate that so much. I then use the guides to determine exactly where to stamp the border stamp in order to leave the perfectly lined up space between the two for my sentiment. I colored the border images with markers for a fun rainbow color scheme and then stamped the sentiment in red to give it a bit more interest. I then added just a few gem stones... because SPARKLE! Finally, I mounted the stamped panel onto a blue panel and then mounted that to the white card base to finish the card.

I hope you give the alignment guides a try! Combined with a stamping tool like the Misti, they are a super helpful (and wicked easy to store) staple in your craft room!
