Clean and Simple Miss You Card

Hello friends and welcome! It’s Laurie with you today and I’m sharing a very simple card that will tell your loved ones that they are missed.

I started by ink blending a simple oval shape directly on my A2 sized card base. I love this simple stenciling!
I used the Missing You Stamp Set to create a cute little scene. The houses are actually attached with a longer strip of grass but I decided to snip them apart. I coloured them with alcohol markers and then fussy cut them out.

I placed the card into my Misti to make sure I stamped the sentiment perfectly. I set the houses in place (without adhesive) to help me centre it. I have to say that the font in this stamp set is my fave!!
Once the sentiment was stamped, I added foam tape to the houses and adhered them to the card. It was at this point, I thought it needed just a little extra something. I went through my Ink Blot Shop stash and found the cutest banner in the Simple Sentiments Stamp Set which appears to be discontinued…so sorry! But there is a banner in the Journaling Spots Stamp Set!

I stamped the banner twice, then added a small heart in the centre (from the Missing You Set). After cutting these out, I foam mounted each banner to each house. I drew a small black line to turn them into sweet, little flags!
And as always, I just had to add a bit of sparkle to the hearts as well as Glossy Accents to the windows and hearts!

I absolutely loved making this card and I hope you like the clean, simple and slightly shiny look of it!

Wishing you a great day! See you soon!

Laurie
