Color Focus - Blue!

Today we will do a color closeup with design tips for using blue on your handmade cards.

Use multiple blue markers to color the Brickwork Background Stamp for a beautiful dimensional, monochromatic and unexpected pop of color for brick. Add hot pink flamingos for contrast from Flopsy Birds on the Little Notes image with a sentiment from Little Something to finish.
A pop of bright aqua surrounded by complementary colors can make a clean and simple card a real wow! This combo of designs from the Accent Borders Stamp Set and sentiment from Sentiment Label Blocks is so graphic and almost has a comic feel. (The Rainbow Splatter Paint Envelope is a perfect companion for mailing.)
Go blue or go home with this cool creation. Emboss Botanical Borders 2 in white and then ink blend a cool blue with a sentiment from Solid Sayings.

An easy complementary for blue is warm kraft! This crafty themed card features a focal point from Arts and Crafts Sentiments, and some DIY patterned paper from the Arts and Crafts Bitty Background Stamp. The little sparkly gold strip is the perfect divider.
