Cassie, tell us a little bit about yourself and your creative journey...
Hi, my name is Cassie and I am so excited to be a guest designer this month for Ink Blot Shop. I first started scrapbooking almost 20 years ago and I have been obsessed with this hobby ever since. Typically you will find me creating traditional 12x12 scrapbook pages but have dabbled in some smaller formats as well. I used to be hesitant to try anything that was "too" messy for fear of messing up my projects, but a few years ago I decided that I wanted to branch out more and started to dabble with some mixed media. It all started with using distress oxide inks with stencils and quickly evolved from there into buying stamps. After some more practice, I quickly discovered that I love using stamps to make my supplies my own. My favorite type of stamps to use are: any sort of doodle, splatter, alphabet or word stamps. I have noticed that these are the types of stamps that I find are easy to use on my scrapbook pages.
