Hello, folks! This is Jennifer Ingle here with you today to showcase a super fun and totally simple technique using a supply you likely already have around - your watermark ink!
This card uses the amazing Little Notes stamp set. I did some simple masking to create the focal image on the card and then I did some ink blending to add that glorious peacock blue as the background. A bit of washi tape adds a pop of pink to the sticky note stamp.
Next comes the super fun technique that I mentioned earlier. Do you see those subtle stars playing in the top left and bottom right corners of my card? Those are stamped with VersaMark ink. I think we use it so often to heat emboss that we forget that it is actually a watermark ink and can offer us the ability to create such a cool, subtle look over an inked background! Fun, right?
So, if you haven't used your VersaMark as a watermark ink in awhile (or ever), give it a try today! I used a traditional dye ink, but distress inks are particularly great for this technique, too!
I hope you have a truly delightful day!
