Hello Brickwork Background Card

Hi Crafty Friends! Stephanie here with a watercolor card! I just love the Brickwork Background stamp and I really wanted to highlight it on this card.
I started by stamping the Brickwork Background on a piece of white cardstock that I will cut down to A2 size later. I stamped with black ink then embossed with clear embossing powder. I used 3 distress inks as watercolors and painted over the embossed stamp. I played with the colors until I was happy with the look. Then I splattered some gold watercolor across the cardstock.

While the watercolor dried, I stamped "hello" from Bubble Words. I colored it with pale alcohol ink markers and added highlights with a white gel pen to make it look like a bubble. I also stamped "THINKING OF YOU" from the Simple Sayings stamp set in purple on white cardstock.
I went back to my watercolored cardstock and cut it down to A2 card size. I then added foam tape to the hello sentiment and added both sentiments to the card panel. I topped it off with some gold pearls to match the gold splatters.

Thanks for joining me and have a wonderful day!
