Hey You Card

Happy February Ink Blot Shop friends. Annette Allen here with you today and I am sharing a card that I created using the Ink Blot Shop:
I started with stenciling the Pixel Grid stencil directly onto my card base (A2). I used some misc. blue ink and a blender brush to add my ink.

I then layered the Giant Hey You stencil to the top of the Pixel Grid stencil background that I just created. I used a deeper color, so that the Hey You stands out. Before lifting my stencil, I sprinkled some Copic opaque, then lifted the stencil. This is a fun way to highlight just the stenciled area. I have used this technique many times.

Finishing up with stamping this cute sentiment from the Sentiment Label Blocks stamp set, then trimming down and adding a piece of misc. glitter card-stock and adding to my card. The glitter card-stock also adds more color to my card and makes this little sentiment stand out on the card.
This card was so fun to create and totally simple. The hardest part was choosing the colors to stencil. You could go wild with color or just stick to a one color family. The possibilities are endless.

Thank you for stopping by.

Have an awesome day!
