Hi Double Background Card

Hi Friends! It's Carol here today and I'm sharing a card that almost never was. Do you sometimes get in a rut and you're not sure what happened to your crafty mojo? Well that happened to me while I was making this card. I knew 100% that I wanted to use the Scribble Circle background stamp but once I stamped it, I got stuck! I wasn't sure what I wanted to do so you know what I did? I got up and left it on my craft desk for a couple of days. I would swing by and look at it but I just couldn't figure out what I wanted to do. I almost tossed it to start fresh with another stamp set but as my hubby always says, "I ain't no quitter," so I sat back down and a bright idea popped in my head...another background!
So, I pulled out the Pixel Grid stencil (one of my faves) and went around the edges in a light pink color. I then decided to cut down the panel to about 3.25 x 4.5. I was starting to smile at this point because I was just loving the way it was turning out. Next, I cut down another panel of pink cardstock to be just a bit larger than my card front. At this point the mojo was going strong and I immediately thought, hearts. So, I grabbed a heart die from my stash, cut out three hearts then heat embossed the Hi, Hey, Hello sentiments. I adhered the hearts right down the middle with foam adhesive, added a few sequins and this card was done!
Always remember, the creative juices may not always flow when you need them but if you're patient and willing to relax for a bit something beautiful can be created.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today!

~Carol
