Hi Friends! It's Carol here today and it's the beginning of August! Someone pinch me because I can't believe that the summer is going by so quickly!
So, my mom recently came down for a visit and it went way too fast. We're all still missing her, so I pulled out the Missing You stamp set (perfect, right?) to create a card for her.
This card came together pretty quickly because I just spritzed my background with some Distress Oxide inks, then I stamped my images. Aren't those houses adorable! I knew I wanted to have a colorful neighborhood so I took out some water based markers and went to work.
After coloring, I fussy cut the houses and adhered them onto my card front. Although the images have grass, I opted to trim that away and just focus on the cute little houses, Next, I stamped my sentiment right in the middle because it totally sums up how we feel right now. Next, I added a little clay heart from my stash and adhered the card front onto my card base.
