Holding You In My Heart Card

Hi Friends! It's Carol here today and it's the beginning of August! Someone pinch me because I can't believe that the summer is going by so quickly!

So, my mom recently came down for a visit and it went way too fast. We're all still missing her, so I pulled out the Missing You stamp set (perfect, right?) to create a card for her.

This card came together pretty quickly because I just spritzed my background with some Distress Oxide inks, then I stamped my images. Aren't those houses adorable! I knew I wanted to have a colorful neighborhood so I took out some water based markers and went to work.
After coloring, I fussy cut the houses and adhered them onto my card front. Although the images have grass, I opted to trim that away and just focus on the cute little houses, Next, I stamped my sentiment right in the middle because it totally sums up how we feel right now. Next, I added a little clay heart from my stash and adhered the card front onto my card base.
I know that my mom is going to love this card! And, I'm sure you have someone in your life that you're missing right now, and this is the perfect stamp set to let that someone know you're thinking about them. Don't forget to check out the shop for this set and so much more!

Thanks for stopping by the blog today!
