Happy Friday! I wanted to use the newest Shout Out stamp and stencil set together for a super quick and easy card. I’ve been loving the coordinating stencils for stamp sets because it allows you to make cards really quickly and there’s so many possibilities.
For today’s card, I went ahead and stamped the Shout Out stamp on pink cardstock with black in. Then using the Shout Out stencil, I ink blended the talk bubbles in using pink ink as well as red ink to give it a bit of subtle dimension. I trimmed down my card panel to 4” x 5.25” so I could mat it on a piece of dark pink cardstock.
I wanted to keep this card pretty simple since the background is a bit busy with the black outline talk bubbles. For my sentiment, one of the newest tools in my arsenal is the A2 Alignment Guide (Quarter Inch Grid) and it’s such a helpful tool. Usually I just eyeball placing sentiments, but I was able to center and stamp my sentiment right in the middle of a piece of cardstock. I trimmed it down to a half inch strip and placed it on my card panel.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you’re inspired to create. Happy Crafting!
