Lucky Clover Hello Card

Cards & Envelopes

Hi Crafty Friends! Emily Mydlowski here with you today celebrating St. Patrick’s Day & stretching my stamps with a Lucky Clover Hello Greeting Card! My favorite variety of Lucky Clovers is the four stamped heart versions and the Basic Shapes Stamp Set has three sized hearts perfect for creating 4-Leaf Heart Clovers.
With a clear acrylic block I eye-balled lining up the points of the heart to a center point that I marked in pencil, I then stamped the hearts with a pretty Green ink. After I stamped all the clovers, I fussy-cut and then placed a green enamel dot in the center. For the card front background, I stamped the Sprinkled Hearts Background in Green ink half-way up an A2 Card Panel…leaving a little white at the top.
Where there’s a St. Patrick’s Day Hello, there’s always a Rainbow that follows so I cut strips of cardstock in rainbow colors that I adhered over the Sprinkled Hearts Background with liquid adhesive.
For the sentiment, I added a long white sentiment strip to the top of the rainbow stripes and stamped HELLO from Simple Sayings with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink. I added the 4-Leaf Heart Clovers with foam squares to the Sprinkled Heart & Rainbow Stripes.
So there we are friends, a 4-Leaf Heart Lucky Clover St. Patrick’s Day card using the perfectly shaped hearts from the Basic Shapes Stamp Set. I hope you enjoyed my post today and it inspires you to stretch your stamps in fun new ways. Thanks for stopping by and Big Paper Hugs!
