Happy Thursday! Today, I’m sharing a card featuring the Skyline Borders stamp set. It’s such a simple illustration that you can use for a quick and easy card like I did today. I rummaged through my scraps and found a panel where I used blue alcohol inks.
I stamped the skyscraper scene from the Skyline Borders on watercolor paper and used my Karin markers to color up the images. I kept it pretty simple and stuck with gray, red, and brown colors to keep it pretty muted since I wanted it to pop out from the background.
This border is slightly longer than 5.5 inches but I wanted it to fit on my A2 panel. I decided to cut out the images, which was really easy because of the straight lines. There are some rooftop details but I decided it was ok to do without. By cutting them out, I can also pop them up on my panel using foam for extra dimension.
To finish off the card, I stamped the “Miss You” sentiment on an extra scrap of my alcohol panel and heat embossed it in silver. I trimmed it down, and popped it up on foam placing it on top of a strip of holographic cardstock to add extra interest at the bottom of the card.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you’re inspired to create. Happy Crafting!
