Rejoice Card

Happy Tuesday Ink Blot Shop friends, Annette Allen here with you today and I am joining the crafty community with Christmas in July. Christmas cards are one of my most favorites to create for, so I created this card using Ink Blot Shop…
Newborn King stamp set
Holly Jolly Background stamp
Both of these sets are amazing. The Holly Jolly background stamp is so pretty and I love the polka dots in between each holly.
I started with cutting my card base on white cardstock. I always fold my cards using a bone folder so I get a clean straight fold. This card is measured at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.
Using my Misti, I stamped the Holly Jolly Background stamp directly onto my card base. I then colored these cute hollys using Copic Sketch markers YG23, YG21 and R24.
Look closely and you will see the shine. I added some Ranger Stickles Fruit Punch. Nothing like a little sparkle on a card. Let your background aside and let the Stickles dry completely.
I then die cut a circle on red & white designer paper and then cut it in half. Now that my Stickles is dry I can adhere the half circles on each side of the card. I used my Misti for the ruler so I can line up each side. I added the half circles using foam adhesives.
Finishing up with die cutting this rectangle with circle edges for the sentiment. I stamped one of the sentiments from the Newborn King stamp set and then added it to the card also using foam adhesives. Lots of dimension on this card.
Nothing like a card celebrating our Lord and Savior.
Thanks for stopping by.
