Sending Hugs Card

Hello Ink Blot Shop friends, Annette Allen here with you today and I am sharing a HUG on a card and I created this card using Ink Blot Shop:

Bubble Words stamp set
Leopard Print stencil

I am inking up those fun stencils again. I love this Leopard Print.
I started with cutting my card base on white cardstock. I always fold my cards using a bone folder so I get a clean straight fold. This card is measured at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

I started with this cool Leopard stencil and a mix of 4 various inks. I started at the top and blending the colors all the way to the bottom of the card. I believe there are no rules when it comes to color combos. I say so WILD with color.
Now time to stamp that fun big Bubble Words HUGS sentiment and color with Copic Sketch markers V17, V15 and V12. I always start with the darker color and work my way up. Now for a little fussy cutting. I don’t mind fussy cutting, I find it kind of fun sometimes.

I then stamped the other two sentiments and cut them down using my paper trimmer.

Finishing up with adding the sentiments to the card. I first added the HUGS using foam adhesives for a little dimension. The rest of the sentiment I added using Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue.

But first before I say we are done…. let’s add a little white gel pen to the HUGS sentiment. This gives the letters a little highlight that I love.

This card was very simple to create and I got to go wild with color with this fun stencil.

Thanks for stopping by.

Have a day full of smiles.

Happy Crafting,
Annette Allen
