Sending Lots Of Love Card

Happy Friday! For today’s card, I wanted to utilize the Shout Out stencil to create a talk bubble for someone but also using it as a subtle background.
First, I stamped the girl with the bow from the Little Something stamp set directly on my card panel and then stamped her again on a piece of masking paper. I fussy cut the mask out and thankfully, it was pretty easy to do as there wasn’t anything super intricate. I placed the mask on her and used a piece to cover up the ground as well.

For my background, I used a light grey ink with the Shout Out stencil and masked up one of the talk bubbles to save for another color. The solo talk bubble that I masked off, I ink blended using pink and purple.
I used my alcohol markers to color the floor and the image of the little girl. I definitely wanted to use matching colors to the talk bubble so I used pink and purple for her dress so the colors for the card would be cohesive.

If you’re interested, I also have a YouTube video here sharing my process of creating this card.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you’re inspired to create. Happy Crafting!
