Hi Crafty Friends! Stephanie here today sharing a one-layer card. I really love this building stamp and wanted to make a peaceful night scene with it. The size of the stamp is perfect for a mini slimline card so that's the size I went with.
I started by stamping the buildings and moon on a mini slimline card panel. Then I also stamped on masking paper and masked the stamped images. I then started on the night sky. I blended 3 different distress oxides - Prize Ribbon, Villainous Potion and Chipped Sapphire. Once I got the perfect night sky blend, I added gold metallic splatters for my stars.
I removed the masks over the buildings and moon, I just love the "reveal" when removing masks! I decided to keep the colors simple since it's a night scene. I colored the moon and the windows using the same color Copic marker. I used only 2 gray Copic markers for the buildings to keep it monochrome.
Last but not least, I added the sentiment. I used the Make A Wish stamp from the Sentiment Label Blocks set. I embossed it in white on black cardstock so it would blend in with the night sky. I popped it up with foam tape for a little dimension.
Thanks for joining me and have a wonderful day!
