Sweet Thinking of You Card

Hello crafty friends! It's Theary back on the blog again. Today, I want to share a "Thinking of You" card.
This card was so fun to make. I used the masking technique to achieve the layering effect. First, I stamped an image from the Little Sweetie set onto white cardstock using an alcohol-friendly ink. I then went in and masked that image with masking paper. Now, going in with one of my favorite borders from the Botanical Borders set, I stamped that onto the cardstock.

On the upper half of the cardstock, I stamped the Sprinkled Hearts Background stamp at a slight angle and heat set using white embossing powder.
Before removing the masking paper, I used a blending brush with a pink shade of hybrid ink and blended that throughout my card panel. Then, I went in and colored the images with alcohol markers.

To align my sentiment, I used the A2 alignment guides to help with the position of one of the sentiments from the Solid Sayings set.
I trimmed the card panel down to 5.25" x 4" and adhered it to a gray stitched rectangle cardstock. I then adhered that onto a side folding card base.

I added a few highlights using a white gel pen and glued on a few embellishments to finish the card. And that's it!

I hope you found some inspiration and have a fun time in your craft space.

Until next time,
Theary Chea
