Teacher Thank You Card

Hi Friends! It's Carol here and today I'm sharing a Teacher Thank You card. As you may know, we are nearing the end of Teacher Appreciation week and I always like to have a card or two on-hand. I decided to go for a mini-slimline card today so I could have a little more room to add a few additional elements. Believe it or not, I used four different stamp sets for this card! I love mixing and matching, and Ink Blot Shop stamps make it easy to do so!
To start this card, I cut down my card front to a 6 x 3 size. I did a little ink blending (in rainbow order of course) to give my card a nice colorful background. Once that was complete, I used the Little Notes stamp set for my notebook pages. After stamping, I fussy-cut them out and then added a Thank You sentiment to each one using the Teacher Greetings, Flair Greetings, and Solid Sayings stamp sets.
I adhered my images along the center of my card in a zig-zag fashion. To add a little more interest I stamped that cute little pencil, colored and cut it out and added it with some foam adhesive. I also stamped the apple onto my "sticky note" and gave it a little color. Lasty, I added a few sequins for a little bling and this card was done.
I'm so happy you stopped by the blog today! I hope this inspires you to thank a teacher in your community.

~Carol
