Thank You Card

Hello Crafty Friends! Stephanie Benavides here with my first Design Team blog post for Ink Blot Shop! I'm so excited to be sharing my Ink Blot Shop projects with y'all! Today I'm sharing a mini slimline Thank You card using Skyline Borders and Chunky Sentiments stamp sets.

I started by cutting down white cardstock to 2.75 x 5.75 to make my card panel. I then stamped the swoops and stars border stamp from the Skyline Borders set with black ink. I colored it in with an ombre rainbow color scheme and then outlined it with gray to give it a bit of a shadow.

Next, I stamped Thank You from the Chunky Sentiments in black ink. I wanted it to pop against the bright colors, so I embossed it with clear embossing powder. I also outlined the sentiment with a gray marker. I then stamped a few extra stars also from the Chunky Sentiments set and colored these in to match the other stars.

I cut yellow cardstock down to 3 x 6 and mounted the card panel to it. Then attached it all to a 3 x 6 cardbase.
