Thanks for Everything Card

Hey You! Ink Blot Shop friends, Annette Allen here with you today and I am sharing a card that I created using:
I love when you can mix a background stamp set and stencil where both still shine on your card, of course you have to choose your inks wisely but most work together.
I started with cutting my card base on white card-stock. I always fold my cards using a bone folder so I get a clean straight fold. This card is measured at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

Now it is time to stamp the String It Out Background stamp. When stamping a background stamp I always use my Misti. This helps me to get a fully inked stamped image when stamping multiple times. I went with an earth tone color for the background.

Next I lined up my Giant Hey You stencil and used Ranger oxide ink pad saltwater taffy with a blending brush. I love how this pops on the card but still leaves the background shining through it.

I then stamped this adorable image from the Winging It stamp set and colored with Copic Sketch Markers R22, R21, B00 and E40. I added a little white gel pen here and there and then fussy cut using very fine scissors. When fussy cutting remember to move your card-stock along with the scissors to get a clean cut around the image. I added the images using foam adhesives to give a little dimension to my card.

Finishing up with stamping a sentiment from the Sentiment Label Blocks stamp set and heat embossing it on a piece of scrap colored card-stock. I also used foam adhesives to give a little more dimension to my card.
A happy card for that special Thank You.

Thank you for stopping by.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!
