Hi Crafty Friends! Stephanie Benavides here today sharing a sweet Thank You card.
I started by stamping the jar from the This & That stamp set. I chose 2 flowers from the Floral Frenzy stamp set that were the same type but different sizes. I masked and stamped the flowers just above the jar opening to make it look like a bouquet. I then drew the stems down into the jar. I colored the jar and flowers with alcohol markers and then cut it out with my die cutting machine.
Next, I worked on the card panel. I cut the panel down to 3.5 x 4.75. I stamped the wood grain ground (a counter in this case, lol) from the Get Grounded stamp set and colored it with alcohol markers. I then masked off the wood grain and ink blended the background with Distress Oxide ink. I used some white acrylic paint mixed with water to splatter the background. I put some foam tape on the back of the jar and flowers and attached it to the card panel.
To finish up the card, I cut another A2 sized card panel and stamped it with the Slim Stripes Background. I attached the smaller card panel to it. I then stamped the sentiment from the Sentiment Label Blocks stamp set. Then I attached the card panel to the card base.
