Totally Happy Birthday Card

Hello everyone! It's Theary here again on the blog. For today's post, I am sharing a card I created using the Basic Shapes stamp set and the Solid Sayings stamp set.

I am a big fan of coloring, but sometimes it is nice not having to do it when I want something quick and easy. This card came together relatively fast. So, let's get into the details.
I used white cardstock that measures 4.25 inches x 5.50 inches. I then used an acrylic block with several different sizes of triangles from the Basic Shapes stamp set; I stamped it sporadically throughout the cardstock using premium dye ink in various shades of blue. Then, switching over to the small circle stamp, I stamped it on using teal ink.

Once I was happy with the overall pattern, I used a pink shade of ink and blended that over the edges of the card front. Then, I added details and highlights using a white gel pen.

So, the card is almost complete. I needed a sentiment and used a Happy Birthday sentiment from the Solid Sayings stamp set. This stamp set is fantastic because it has all the essential sentiments you will ever need in your collection. I stamped that onto vellum and heat embossed that with gold embossing powder.
Before adhering it to a top folding card base, I ran the card panel through my die cutting machine using a stitched rectangle die. I then used liquid adhesive to adhere everything together. And, that's it. I hope you enjoy the process of this easy card, and I hope it inspires you to get in your craft room to create. Until next time!

Have a wonderfully blessed day,
Theary Chea
