Tropical Happy Birthday Card

Happy Summer Crafty Friends! Stephanie here and I'm sharing a summer birthday card! We are having some hotter than usual weather in Texas and it inspired me to make this tropical card.
I started by stamping the tropical leaves from the Botanical Borders stamp set on a white A2 card panel. I lined up the tips of the leaves with the top and bottom edges of the card panel. I then colored all the leaves with a variety of different shades of green Copic markers to differentiate the different types of leaves. And of course, I had to add bright pink to the mix!
I then cut two pink cardstock strips in two different shades and glued them together. Then I stamped Happy Birthday from the Party Monster set in embossing ink and embossed it with gold powder. I love the look of gold with bright pink! I centered the pink strip between the stamps and glued it down.
