Happy Hello Ink Blot Shop friends, Annette Allen here with you today and I am sharing a card that I created using:
Koala Hugs stamp set
Bubble Words stamp set
Botanical Borders stamp set
I love mixing up the Ink Blot Shop stamp sets to create a fun scene. I really never know what I am going to create when I pull the stamps out but it always seems to work out.
I started with cutting my card base on kraft card-stock. I always fold my cards using a bone folder so I get a clean straight fold. This card is measured at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.
Using my Misti I stamped all of the images directly onto my card base. I stamped one at a time. I like to focus on one image at a time and this helps me to line them up perfectly.
Now that all the images are on my card base it is time to color them. I colored with Copic Sketch markers E71, E70, YR01, YR02, Y35, YG25, YG67 and YG63.
I added a little white gel pen here and there. This, I think, adds a little more when highlighting an image.
Finishing up with added some silver glossy dots and a thin strip of designer paper at the top. I added the design paper because I thought it brought all the colors I used on the card together.
I love stamping and coloring on kraft card-stock. Most of the time we see bright white cards but not today. A simple card with just a few steps.
I hope that you enjoyed my card.
Thanks for stopping by.
Have a great day...
Happy Crafting,
Annette Allen
