Two-For-One Stamp & Flip Background Panels

Cards & Envelopes

Hi Cardmaking Friends! Emily Mydlowski here with you today stretching my supplies to create two bright and cheerful Get Well Soon cards by stamping & flipping the Doodled Rainbow Scoops Background Stamped impressions.
I started by ink blending two A2 Card Panels with VersaFine Clair Ink in Charming Pink, Summertime and Cheerful. Using a MISTI, I placed the background stamp so it would leave the bottom (or top) without an impression. I stamped the Doodled Rainbow Scoops Background Stamp with VersaMark Ink after treating the panel with Anti-Static powder and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

The Get Well Soon sentiments are from the Simple Sayings Stamp set that I white heat embossed to black card stock and cut with my trimmer into two sentiment strips.

I adhered the heat embossed panels to a black cardstock base. One with the pink on the top and second panel was flipped with the pink on the bottom. I adhered the Get Well Soon Sentiments to the bottom right of each panel and added a couple sequins for a little extra dimension and shine.

This was such a quick and easy way to create two cards with similar yet different different designs all with the flip of the stamped panel. I hope you enjoyed my post today and it inspires you to stretch your stamps in fun new ways.

Thanks for stopping by and Big Paper Hugs!
